1) meal planning- you can have your meals planned ahead probably over a space of time , that way you can organise yourself and save some time, you can find meal planning templates online
2) transform your leftovers into new meals;you don’t have to cook from scratch always,adding one or two things to your leftover meal can give a delightful meal
3)Plan freezer meals ; you can do this by prepping your ingredients ahead of time and saving them in the freezer ; so when its time to cook you just bring out ingredients and cook
4)Batch cook – you can double the portions of food you cook ,save the extra portion for later in the fridge or freezer. This will not only save you time,it will save you fuel (gas)
5) Buy in bulk; this will save you the stress of making constant trips to the store/market , you can use your meal plans to make your shopping list so you don’t leave out anything.
6) Cook simple – opt for simple meals every now and then,the type that requires putting few ingredients together in 10-15minutes to give a meal
7) Let your kids help out,if you have kids above 8 years old,you can have them around you while you cook. they can help you with the little things around the kitchen plus it can be a way to bond with them as well
8)Clean as you go so you don’t end up with an overwhelmingly messy kitchen which will take even more time to clean
