DIARY OF A FOOD ADDICT
I have tried a couple of home (food) remedies, some of them are so amazing I will like to share with you.
These foods are now a part of my care regimen, tested and trusted by me for effective results.
Heres my list
1. Pure Honey –
– A glass of milk and honey is my perfect sleep drug .
-I exfoliate once a week by massaging honey into my face for 15mins, then
rinsing off with warm water and applying moisturizer thereafter. This actually
cleared spots off my acne prone skin)
-I apply honey to soothe burns and prevent blisters.
-Honey also helps my wounds heal nicely and faster without leaving scars.
2. Coconut oil
– Moisturizer for my hair
– Provides my skin with some protection from sun
3. Sheabutter
– My lip gloss
– My anti inflammatory
– My skin moisturizer (healed my dry skin)
– Scar remover (took years but it actually worked)
– Perfect massage oil, absolutely soothes my sore muscles and joints
4. Oranges
– Taking in oranges daily gives my skin an unusual glow.
– Allows for easy movement of bowels.
5. Low Fat Yoghurt/Milk
– Gets rid of dark circles under the eyes
– Strengthens my bones especially after very stressful activity.
Whoever said food was only meant to be eaten ?!#*
