Tiger nut milk is a healthy non diary milk option that is gluten free.
The traditional process of making tigernut milk from tigernuts can take up to 12 hours but this process has been simplified with the tiger nut powder. Here is how….
Directions
Put 4-6 heaped tablespoons of the tiger nut powder in a bowl. Add in enough ice cold water (50-75ml), add in a teaspoon of ginger powder ,mix thoroughly.Add in more water if required.Pass the mixture through a sieve to seperate the milk from the chaff. if you want to get extra flavour from the powder leave the mixture for longer before sieving. Transfer extracted milk into a cup
Sweeten the extracted milk with sugar, honey or date granules.
