HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE AT HOME

Ingredients

  • 200g cocoa butter and/or coconut oil
  • 200g cocoa powder
  •  pure honey/date granules  (to taste)
  • 1-2 table spoons vanilla extract/cinnamon
  • crushed nuts (optional)/chilli powder/dried fruits ( optional)

 

Instructions

  • grate cocoa butter,add in coconut oil ( use either/ or)
  • melt mixture in a glass bowl on top of a small pan with a little water in it over medium heat , avoid water touching the bowl
  • add in cocoa powder,honey/date granules,vanilla/cinnamon extract
  • mix in all ingredients added until they all blend in and a smooth texture is attained,make sure no liquid gets into the chocolate so the mix does not end up too watery.
  • add in any of the optional ingredients you desire,stir in.
  • pure chocolate into molds ( you can use an ice cube tray).
  • leave it for several hours to harden at room temperature and remove molds or put in fridge or freezer to harden faster.
  • keeps for about a week at room temperature ;keeps longer in the fridge or freezer
