2)Pizza sauce- made from a mixture of tomato, red scotch bonnet pepper “ata rodo”, garlic and onion; blend into a smooth paste, boil till all the liquid evaporates, season with salt and fry with vegetable Oil.
3) Pizza toppings – green pepper,onions,mozzarella cheese,sweet corn,chicken chunks/sausages/barbecue chicken chunks; chop onions,green pepper,sausages/chicken and set aside
METHOD
Pre heat the oven to 400 fahrenheit
The oven should be piping hot before you start cooking the pizza.
Sprinkle flour on a smooth surface ,place dough on it and flatten pizza dough with hand till you get a thin disc.
Place pizza dough on a baking sheet. Use a pastry brush to spread a thin coating of olive oil over the top of the crust. spread pizza sauce on crust ,quantity should be based on your personal preference.
Layer the toppings over the sauce,put the heavier toppings like chicken/sausage and onions at the bottom ,meat topping should always be cooked before you put them on the dough. sprinkle cheese and spread over surface so it melts easily into the dough.
Bake for about 20 minutes till the Crust is browned and the cheese melts on top.
Allow to cool before serving
