BOILED YAM WITH CORNED BEEF SAUCE

INGREDIENTS QUANTITIES
METHOD
Corned beef 1 can (450g)
Fresh tomatoes (chopped) 4 Pieces
Onions (chopped) 2 medium bulbs
Fresh Pepper (blended) 4 pieces
Tatashe (blended) 4 pieces
Thyme ¼ teaspoon
Curry ½ teaspoon
Vegetable oil 2 cooking spoons
Tomatoes puree 2 tablespoons
Peas  2 cups
Seasoning powder 2 sachets

* In a clean pot heat oil and fry onions for 1 minute, add the pepper, tomatoes, tomato puree, seasoning powder, curry, thyme and fry for 8 minutes or until sourness is off.
* Add the corned beef, carrots, peas, and continue frying for 5 minutes.
* Serve with boiled yam.
